Originally from Nepal, Dr. Jaiswal graduated from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in 2010. He completed his internship and residency training at State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He furthered his training with a cardiology fellowship at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit and an electrophysiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Jaiswal is board certified in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also holds board certification in echocardiography from the National Board of Echocardiography.
Passionate about electrophysiology, Dr. Jaiswal enjoys mapping electrical signals of the heart and performing procedures that help restore normal heart rhythms. “It’s a great feeling when a patient who has been struggling with arrhythmia starts having a normal lifestyle,” he said.
In his personal time, Dr. Jaiswal enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, bicycling and spending time in nature with family and friends. His wife, Dr. Pooja Jaisawal, is a hospitalist at Willis Knighton.
