Recognizing that heart health is a lifelong pursuit, Mahin R. Khan, MD, FACC, provides prevention and treatment for both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. He specializes in coronary and peripheral interventions. Dr. Khan desires to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and is gratified when patients find relief from heart attacks and related issues.
Growing up with a family of physicians in Pakistan, Dr. Khan decided very early that he wanted to be a physician and positively impact patients’ lives. He earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. He went on to complete an internal medicine residency at McLaren Flint/Michigan State University. Dr. Khan completed two fellowships, one in cardiovascular disease from McLaren Flint/Michigan State University and another in interventional cardiology from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He served as both chief resident and chief fellow in the respective programs.
Dr. Khan holds American Board of Internal Medicine certifications in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is board certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Khan enjoys watching and playing soccer, traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter.
